HTML:Project 1 - Home Page

Instructions: USING a text editor, compose a web page that contains at least the following features:

  • 1. A background other than white.

  • 2. A page title that contains your name that gets displayed on the browser title bar;

  • 3. A sentence containing your own "words to live by" in bold type face.

  • 4. An image of your choosing with "alt" caption.

  • 5. Two links to web sites that you like. Place these links in a bulleted list.

REMEMBER, you will be using an editor to write the HTML and a browser to view the HTML. You may NOT use Word or any other HTML-aware editor tool as the purpose of this exercise is to have you learn basic HTML structure.

You may get help from a friend, but you may not use a friend's HTML file. You must compose your own. Again, play with the HTML to create different "looks". The best way to learn is by experimenting.
